When I talk about the accumulation of stress and trauma in body I often use the analogy of a tall ship. When we start out from port with our fresh paintwork and new sails all is well. We have resilience and strength but once we’ve weathered a few storms and skirmishes our sails may be torn, there maybe a whole in the hull from an impact and we list into port for repair. The rigging is tight, the crows nest is wonky because of the changes in tension.

A tall sailing ship with its sails partially down, flying an American flag and an orange flag, sailing on calm water under a cloudy sky.
A solar eclipse in space with a bright corona and a starry background, showing the moon covering the sun with a halo of light.
Stack of seven balanced smooth rocks on a rocky beach with blurred water in the background.
Collection of white tiles with words related to trauma, mental health, and emotional pain, including trauma, self-esteem, hopelessness, PTSD, abuse, confusion, dreams, anger, heartbreak, and pain, with a decorative heart-shaped glass container filled with dried flowers in the center.

And as we’ve weathered these storms we can accumulate fears and beliefs about our bodies or relationships with others. Have you aver had a negative experience in hospital where you felt completely out of control or had an adverse reaction to a procedure. Cellular Release Therapy is an incredibly gentle hypnotherapeutic system for clearing the ‘charge’ around experiences.

For example: Eight years after having my son I was still tearful if I talked about his birth. Clearing the experiences of my birth experience resulted in a profound change in how I perceived my body and I felt much more relaxed generally.

I was also able to clear the topic of having difficulties in the relationship with my ex husband which laid the ground for enormous changes in my co dependant habits and fuelled deeper healing in our relationship as time went by.

It’s a great feeling when the sun comes out form behind the clouds again and sense of balance and peace can be experienced.
